Incorporating best project management practices enhanced by my experience writing for scores of businesses, my work method is designed to create copy that fulfills your marketing needs, while keeping to the schedule and budget.

There are five phases to the process:

1. Define your marketing needs. This includes:

  • Discussing the project with you.
  • Performing initial review of current site, brochures, white papers, or other source material.
  • Providing a quote. My quotes are firm, based on the specified project scope

2. Develop an understanding of your business, your marketing goals, and your customers.

  • I schedule a formal interview with you.
  • The purpose of this conversation is to understand your company, your market, what distinguishes you from the competition, and your goals for the specific project. The interview also covers any product or service details not available in your written source material.
  • The interview can be a conference call or an in-person meeting.

3. I write the draft. This first draft is as complete as possible.

4. You and your team review the draft.

  • The review phase enables you to verify that the message and details are correct and accurate.
  • Depending on the project, there may be several rounds of reviews.

5 . I address your review comments and issue a final draft.
